Get a Prescription: Already have a healthcare provider? Great! They can prescribe Apretude for you.
Meet Our Doctors: Don’t have a prescription yet? No problem! Make an appointment with one of our friendly medsEXPERT doctors who will guide you through the process.
Once you have your prescription, we’ll handle the rest, including helping with any costs not covered by your insurance. We’ve got you covered 😀

Before Your Appointment
It’s important to be tested for HIV to confirm you’re negative before starting Apretude.
Make sure to attend your appointments on time to keep the protection strong.
If you feel unwell or think you might have been exposed to HIV, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
What to Expect with Apretude
Skip the oral tablets! You can start directly with the Apretude injections if you and your healthcare provider decide that’s best.
The first two doses are given one month apart, followed by just one injection every two months. That means only 6 injections per year and you’re fully protected.
We’ll help you stay on track by booking your follow-up appointments in advance.
If you’re traveling or can’t make it back for your injection within the 2-month window, we’ll discuss other options with you, like oral PrEP.
